A native of Hammond, Indiana, John earned a BS at Rutgers, and MBA from Rider University. Since then, his 20-year insurance career has run the gamut, from underwriting self-funded large groups with 500+ employees, to sales for two major health insurance carriers. He also holds the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA) designation, and is working toward his Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. Along with such a noteworthy history, John brought his exuberance and humor to Metzler Bros. in 2004.
Just like the company, John is active in the Kansas City community. He serves on the Alphapointe and KVC General boards, is an active member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and serves as Vice President of the Human Resources Management Association of Johnson County.
John enjoys being a part of the Metzler culture of professionalism, fun, and community mindedness.
